USA: Jonathan's Place

In November of 2014, Big Dreams Children's Foundation visited Jonathan’s Place, an emergency shelter for children in Dallas, TX that cares for those who are abused verbally, physically or sexually, or are completely left neglected and starved by their families. While at Jonathan's Place, each child receives medical and dental exams, developmental and psychological assessments, and weekly individual and group therapy. During their stay, children stay enrolled in school. Sadly, the state provides roughly 47 cents for every dollar needed in order to operate Jonathan’s Place. The Center counts on donations to close that gap.

Big Dreams Children's Foundation was compelled to help Jonathan's Place and held a fundraising luncheon that raised over $11,000 to help the children of Jonathan's Place.
