Fisher Island 5K 2013
The Fisher Island 5k walk/run was held on February 2nd, 2013 at the FI Playground. The mission of the event was to raise money for the Fisher Island Day School and make improvements to the playground.
The event included family activities for all ages, the walk/run, a DJ, a T-Shirt, Goodie bags and samples from vendors and a post-race barbeque and awards at the Fisher Island Day School.
The Big Dreams Children’s Foundation was able to raise over $24,000.00 for this event. Thank you to everyone who participated and made a donation to the cause.
