Little Dmytro needed one treatment of very expensive medication, Zolgensma, to be able to live. He has a very serious condition - Spinal Muscle Atrophy Type 1. This is a severe genetic disease that can not be predicted and that a few years ago was fatal because the cure did not exist. Now, that lifesaving cure was found, its cost is insurmountable for most. 

The funds had to be collected in 3 months because the drug needed to be administered prior to the child reaching 6 months of age. Big Dreams has joined an incredible effort in March 2021 and little Dmytro’s life was saved!
