We commit ourselves to the betterment of lives of children in need of schooling, medication, shelter, clothing and food around the world. We will direct our voluntary efforts to improve the lives of those children, to give them hope and fulfill their dreams for better future.

Project Spotlight – Fisher Island 5k
Fisher Island 5k was a first of its kind event for the affluent Fisher Island community creating awareness of the required repairs, due to safety concerns, to its only playground. It took place on January 8th, 2011. The Run brought the entire community together to combine the interests of health enthusiasts with those of the fun loving members of the community joining for a drink and trendy music by DJ Zonzon.
The event was made possible through support of over 30 volunteers, with the majority from a student organization SIFE. Generous donations amounting to $22,000 were handed over to FICA to oversee the necessary repairs and improvements.
